Admiral Systems specialise in sourcing IT, computer hardware, reusing, refurbishing and recycling. Admiral Systems based in Poole, Dorset were established in 1994 specialising in the remarketing and sourcing of systems and spares for IBM mainframe, 3270 and desktop environments.

The 2nd user computer and audio visual IT marketplace has developed with the rapid advances in technology and we now process a broad range of refurbished and end of line computer and audio visual equipment.

In line with the ever quickening pace of technology and the classification of CRT (vdu’s as hazardous waste under Rhos) the need for environmentally sound processes for recycling and disposal of redundant computer hardware have arisen.

Our process for safe, cost effective and ethical disposal currently satisfy and look to surpass the requirements of the WEEE directive. At present we achieve a 95% reuse or reclamation of electronic materials and send nothing to landfill. The disposal of all scrap computer hardware is conducted via an ICER (Industry council for electronic recycling) certified process.  In many cases we can offset  the associated costs of Asset management, data destruction, and disposal by revenue from resale as refurbished units or as maintenance spares. All making for an efficient, cost effective, legal and ethical use of electronic equipment.
